theguitar
Hi everyone i'm trying to install iATKOS_S3_version2 on my dell inspiron 9300. Everytime I try to install, I get stuck at the "Installing" Page. The text reads "Installing Mac OS X on the disk "Macintosh HD"" "Time Remaining: -1 hours and 18 minutes" {its stuck there} I have opened up the log and the last action mentioned there is "Performing volume Consistency Check on "Macintosh HD" I have tried multiple times but this keeps happening. I have tried formatting and reformatting the drive and using different drives. I don't know if this is a clue but I can never erase the drive in the Mac OS installer, I have to use gParted. It always gets stuck in "unmounting disk" I have tried making a hfs+ partition and and just making unallocated space then partitioning in the installer. Dell Inspiron 9300 Intel Centrino Processor 2GB Ram ATI Mobility Radeon X300 Can someone please help me? I have been working on this for 14+ hours total Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295563-iatkos-install-stuck-at-installation-performing-consistency-check/ Share on other sites

theguitar
Thanks for your reply, but I cant try that one right now because I cant come across the snow leopard disk or dmg at the moment, dont have an existing mac, and a few other things. Do you or anyone else have any suggestions to get iAtkos Working?
