dburnsii
First off, I want to say this is an amazing community, I've gotten so far reading posts on here. But the time has come for me to ask for help. I've gotten very far, but now I try to boot up in safe mode or normally and I an only get to this screen and the wheel stops: Now I don't have any hardware installed besides some extra ram, I'm running a gateway laptop with the following specs: Intel i5 processor 8gb ram Intel hd 3000 graphics 500gb Toshiba hard drive The hard disk is split into a 100gb partition and a 400gb partition, OS X is on the first and windows 7 is on the other. Mavericks boots when using the USB install drive, but not by itself. This is what I get out from -v: I have run chameleon, installed a few networking kexts plus fakeSMC and that other essential one I can't think of the name of, and a PS2 keyboard kext. What am I doing wrong? Oh, and I went through the steps to stop the boot0 error due to my hard drive sectors. Any suggestions? dcai777
try dropping the -x because the -x usually disables hardware acceleration...
