Hi guys, it's my first post.

I have successfully installed mountain lion on my hp dv6 2129el with good results.

I have just two issues that I care about:

1- I have 3 usb ports and just 2 are working

2- I have an i5 cpu and "about this mac" said that I have 1 proessor and 2 cores (I think as linux says that I should have 2 processors and 4 cores)

someone can help me to understand and maybe to fix it?

thanks a lot

regards

Claudio

1. What are you using for USB3? GenericUSBXHCI or AppleUSBXHCI?

2. OS X is correct. You have one CPU, 2 cores, (4 threads, via Intel Hyperthreading). This is why the CPU in your PC is referred to as "dual-core"
