jordanvanbergen
hey all i m in big big big big big trouble....whenever i reboot it says missing operating system.....is there any way to fix this?? YES! I had the same problem. Make sure you use a harddisk partitioning tool and set the partition from windows to ACTIVE and BOOT and make sure only 1 partition is BOOTABLE. I once used disk utility and it put my other mac partition to boot as well. So make sure only the windows partition is set the bootable and active. If your machine doesn't start anymore because of the above error message you'll need a boot cd with some partition programs on it. Thank god I had one laying around when the above happened to me. There is a small program called MBRFix and it does the job for you, at least if you put everything yourself as explained above. Try if it boots now. You just have to press a Key for booting another HD (XP for exemple) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2949-missing-operating-system-help/#findComment-22810 Share on other sites
