This is a screenshot of the PEG0 part of an unmodified DSDT extracted from an ASUS notebook model G75VX. I´m trying to figure out what is what in this code. Inside GFX0 there are several devices:

CRTD

DPOD

EDPD

HDMI

HDI2

LCDD

What is each one of those???

PS: Graphics card is connected to PEG0. This notebook has a VBIOS inside the BIOS. The HD4000 is disabled in BIOS. Completely. No trace of it in the whole DSDT. So, we are trying to figure out what is making NVDAResman not leting the system reach the desktop.

If I'm not mistaken, those are the methods for the various monitor devices you can connect to the laptop. LCDD should be your laptop's panel.

My laptop only has one graphics card but the reason NVDAResman was causing issues was due to an incorrect NVCAP in the DSDT injection. Ended up having to extract the proper one from a VBIOS dump made with AIDA64 in Windows. Removing all references to Display 1 (@1,...) in the DSDT injection also allowed me to boot to the desktop with the incorrect NVCAP.

Very interesting info. How do you find the nvcaps in a vbios? I already extracted mine's.
