slayer2333
Hi everyone, i have a cosmetic issue with Mavericks where the brightness control works only after the Screen is turned OFF/On, what i need to do is simply to create a daemon that does this thing at every Mavericks start. Tried tu use apps like SleepDisplay to start at boot but it only works once i enter my password, this solution brings me back to the start screen which is annoying (still it activate brightness control). Can any experienced people help me on this ? pokenguyen
Install this https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-blinkscreen Then go to system preferences > security and privacy > set require password to 1 minute or more. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293951-creating-a-daemon-to-turn-offon-screen-at-boot/#findComment-1968736 Share on other sites
slayer2333
Thank you Poken, weird i did not get any mail notification from your reply, will give it a shot today and report back. Edit: Yep this solution works much better than my previous trials, is there a way for it to activate before i enter my password?
