I was messing around in the display settings and for whatever reason changed the refresh rate to 30 Hz (normally 60 Hz). After that, I found out my monitor doesn't support 30 Hz and therefore went blank and displayed "OUT OF RANGE", meaning it can't display in that frequency. Now I can only boot in safe mode. When I boot into safe mode, the refresh rate is 60 Hz. Whenever I boot without safe mode, the screen goes blank and displays that message again after OS X loads. I've tried adding DisplayMode=1920x1080x32@60 to my Boot.plist but it doesn't help. Also tried manually entering that when booting from Chameleon, and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas?

what happens if you unplug then replug the monitor while booted? (assuming you're on a desktop)

It displays the message again. This is annoying for such a small change. I figured when I changed the refresh rate, it would give me one of those "Are these settings okay? Reverting to old settings in 10 sec.." or something.
