I've never built a computer before, but I'm eager to give it a shot.Computer will used for internet, programming, TV tuner recording (using EyeTV, includes video processing), media hub, and a bit of iRacing (racing simulation game.) Whatever motherboard I choose, I really want to make sure that I stick with 8 USB's if possible.I believe all of the following components are compatible, but looking for any suggestions (better/cheaper part, better compatibility, ect.) I also don't have a graphics card yet, as I'm not really sure what I need. I know the CPU might be a bit overkill, but I want this build to last for a long time.CPUMotherboardRAMCaseWiFiBluetoothHDSSD Power SupplyGPU (Not sure. Want dual monitors PLUS HDMI out.)
