I've tried every guide I've been able to find, and nothing seems to work. My monitor resolution is correct, but I don't seem to be getting proper acceleration. I think a lot of my problems come down to just plain not understanding what it is I am supposed to do, seems like most of these guides are written for people that have some experience in OSX. Motherboard is a GB GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3. 2500K processor. I am pretty sure I have the gfx overclocked a tad, from 1100 to 1600 in the BIOS. I have Chameleon 2.2 from the downloads section installed, and the hd3000 package from the same. It seems like I am having the issue due to the DID 0x0112 thing, but I can't figure out how to edit the info.plist and add the line like it said. edit: I figured out how to take ownership of the kexts and add the lines per the guide, but it didn't work. ummduh Posted September 20, 2013 Author Share Posted September 20, 2013 Well, success!!! I finally got it working. Nearly 10 hours after I started today, after weeks of giving up. What I had to do was format my drive, reinstall 10.8.2, install DSDT. I did NOT install the Intel graphics Kexts. I DID force the 1080 resolution, but I probably didn't need to. Reboot, and it works.
