i_mac_os
Hi I bought another mainboard because of my asus p5rd1-vm sata raid would not install osx So now I bought an asus p5vdc-mx mainboard with via chipset p4p800pro, the mainboard is working wel it has sata raid however the raid function I've disabled. My config = 2x kingston 1g ddr1 (400mhz) 1 intel pentium 4 D cpu 2,8ghz with 2x2mb cache 1 maxtor harddisk 250 gig sataII 16mb Cache 1 LG GSA 4167B dvd writer I tried so many osx installations but not 1 of them reconised my harddrive, I don't have a normal ata harddrive so I have to do it with my sata. Maybe somenbody has the same configuration and can install it on normal ata hdd make an image or if someone has a other solution. For the price of a new mainboard you could have gotten an ATA drive.
