Hi everybody,

I'm new on this forum and a "newbie" for the Hackintosh.

I need your help for installing Mountain Lion on my HP notebook.

I allready success installing this on a HP Compaq Presario C700, but with my notebook, I've a kernel panic when the installation boot.

The message :

panic (cpu 0 caller 0xffffff8000658b61) : unable to find driver for this platform : \"ACPI\" (the rest of the line is no reading on my picture)

/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp : 1546

Debugger called : <panic>

Backtrace (CPU 0), Frame : Return address

0xffffff0077603de0 : 0xffffff800021d5f6

can't perform kext scan : no kext summary

BSD process name corresponding to current thread : Unknown

Boot args : boot -uuid-3E3F1E03-6895-3098-BC3A-A289503E2BCE rd=*uuid -no

Mac OS Version : not yet set

Kernel version :

Darwin Kernel Version 12.0.0

Kernel UUID : 8D5F8EF3-9D12-384B- (the rest is masked by the message for reboot the PC)

To complete my PC configuration :

Processor : Intel Core I5-2410M Sandy-Bridge CPU @ 2,30GHz

BIOS : Brand Hexlette-Packard Version F.1B, Type Inside

Memory : 4Gb DDR3

Graphic card : AMD Radeon HD 6700M/7700M/7900M Series and Intel® HD Graphics

Wifi : Ralink RT5390 802.11b/g/n Wifi Adapter

Ethernet : Realtek RTL8168/8111,PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Adapter

I know that i've to change to AHCI mode in my BIOS, but it's automatic with my laptot (HP say that).

On the net, i read that it's possible the kernel panic may be due to my processor.

Thanks for your help.

Nota : sorry for my english, but i'm french lol

Vu que tu es Français, et que j'ai le même problème, je voulais savoir si tu avais réussi à trouver une solution à ton problème ?

J'ai le même message d'erreur au démarrage. "can't perform kext scan : no kext summary"
