MacAttack
Hi guys. I was messing around with mi 10.4.7 Jas install and I set the resolution too high. Now my screen just goes out of scan range every time I try to boot OSX. I read in the forums that I should use "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" -v -s but this installation of osx doesnt work like the old 10.4.5 I had that gave me the option at startup to imput commands, this installation just goes straight to the gray apple screen with the spinning thingy and then on to the OS, no matter what I press. Please help me out here, I would really apreciate it. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/29126-please-help-me/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
To input startup commands, you need to hit F8 during boot. When OSX boots, it first displays a black screen followed by the grey screen with the spinning icon. As soon as the screen turns black, start tapping the F8 key quickly and repeatedly until a command prompt appears. Anyway, to fix your screen resolution problem, do this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=185272 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/29126-please-help-me/#findComment-199913 Share on other sites
