frixion
Ran the original 6GB deadmoo image for a couple weeks and got frustrated with the 6GB limit so I reinstalled with the dev kit dvd (release 1). Great work everyone - VERY exciting!! I installed the Mac OSX distribution of XAMPP ( http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-macosx.html ) - it's a pre-build distribution of Apache, MySQL, PHP, perl (and some other stuff)... Install went fine however when I try and start it fails to start apache... I posted on their message boards at http://www.apachefriends.org/f/viewtopic.php?p=58191#58191 we'll see where it goes. Thanks again for all the hard work folks!!! GREAT JOB! -f- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2910-xampp-apache-mysql-php-perl-apache-startup-failure/ Share on other sites
macgirl
The thing is those prebuilds are PPC binaries, is better if you compile them or use the Apache that is already installed in Tiger.
