General questions regarding Asus K55vj on ML 10.8.3

Hi guys.

 

So I have this machine with these specs:

 

Asus K55VJ

 

Intel® Core™ i7 3610QM Processor

Intel® Chief River Chipset HM76

8GB DDR3 1600 MHz SDRAM, 2 x 2 x DIMM Dual Channel DDR3 1333/1066/800 MHz.

NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 635M with 2GB DDR3 VRAM

 

And am sucessfully sitting at 10.8.3 using myHack without DSDT.

 

 

Now I am having issues with the following:

 

Earphone and microphone jack and built-in microphone does not work. I am using VoodooHDA for sound

iMessage does not work. I've heard clover still works for iMessage fix but I am using the last Chameleon because I couldn't get clover to work. This is a different issue and if I can get a way for clover to work, I will elaborate this.

Update to 10.8.4 resulted on a kernel panic on applebatterymanager.kext that rendered my installation useless (it wouldn't boot with whatever flag I put there) and required a reinstalation of 10.8.3

 

 

I am mostly interested on the sound fix. I understand this might be fixable through DSDT but I am really a noob on it and would like some deeper guidance on this than what I've been reading on DSDT tutorials if possible.
