i0nic
Hi. I have an eMachines e627 that I'd like to run OSx86 on. Ive tryed using iPC, Hazard, and iAtkos on it, but none of them would make it past the greenish boot screen with apple logo. Help, anyone? Also, specs: -AMD Athlon 64 TF-20 1.6GHz (might upgrade to AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-42 1.6GHz in the future). -ATI Radeon 3200 -2GB DDR2 -Does support ACPI -WDC WD3200BEVT-00ART0 (320GB HDD) -Slimtype DVD A DS8A4SH -Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad -Atheros AR8132 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller -Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter -Realtek High Definition Audio -AMD 780G chipset Not 100% listing the specs will help, but it can't hurt to do it. i0nic
Is this the only way (using the retail disc), or can I use a distro? Also, does it have to be on disc, or can it be used on a flash drive? I don't think my eMachines can accept dual layer DVDs. I do have an 8GB flash drive though.
