My System is AMD X2 4800+ Tolendo Core 939 Asus AN832-MVP MB 2 GB DDR Coarsair Xpert Power Color ATI Radion X1900 XTX 512 Creative XFI Fatality Sound I've installed this JaS 10.4.7 Mac OS X86 with out a problem but i've been searching for a driver for some time now for my display. I'm running an ATI Radion X1900 XTX 512. I assumed the ATI patch with the cd would have done this for me as it said to be compatible with the X1900. I'm thinking as mine is an XTX this might have caused the problem. The Operating system seems to load with out a problem but it seems to be in (-V) mode only. If i don't put the patch on it works as a standard VGA compatible. I need it to work with dvd and dv video so i need the card to work for me. Basically i need to run final cut pro for college. wondergod Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 some people report more success doing the patch manually so you can try http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?s=...st&p=114957 however there is no gauruntee it'll work out of DVI, in fact I think most people only get VGA or have to use a DVI->VGA for it to work a hundred percent. Like me for instance can only get 1440x900 out of my VGA jack on my card DVI won't give me that resolution.
