bjiggler Posted June 4, 2012 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Hi, I have got Lion running on my HP DC 7800p SFF however the only thing that does not appear to work is ls sleep, the screen goes black however the power light stays lit and I can then not resume without powering the PC off. Does anyone have a DSDT for this PC they would be willing to let me have, I am new to all of this so if I need to provide more info please let me know. PookyMacMan Posted June 8, 2012 Share Posted June 8, 2012 You shouldn't use someone else's DSDT; it can actually be quite dangerous. Kinda like using somebody else's toothbrush. I can tell you how to extract, though. Google DSDT Editor, open it, go to the menu IASL > Extract DSDT, and then go to IASL > Save AML as and save it as dsdt.aml on your desktop. You can then place it in your Extra folder. I can try to patch it if you post the DSDT in dsl format; for that, in DSDT Editor extract the DSDT and go to File > Save dsl as, name it dsdt.dsl, right click it and choose compress, and then post it here. If sleep is your only issue, also consider using SleepEnabler. This works for me.
