incasery Posted May 15, 2012 Share Posted May 15, 2012 Alrighty, so im new here. And I downloaded 10.6.2 Snow Leopard.. I own a Toshiba Satellite c655d-s5200 AMD Vision And everytime when I load the disc and press f8, and type -v. after a few lines, the whole screen turns black and flashes different colors nonstop, and makes beeping noises. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? PookyMacMan Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 I'm thinking it's some sort of graphics driver issue; it may be because it is a distro. The nice thing about a retail DVD/OSx86 ModCD combo is that it will disable the graphics drivers until after you install, and the graphics drivers will be unmodified. Just to check, your graphics is not on an APU, right? Separate from CPU?
