I used partition magic to format the 2nd disk as NTFS (there is also FAT . FAT32 . EXT2 - EXT3 - SWAP) NO HFS+ Any one can help me please? This all absolutely does not matter. "dd" will make an exact copy of HDD with Mac OS X installed on HFS+ partition and the rest room on your disk will be just "free space" that is "unformatted".
