when you says your sleep is working can you elaborate?

I have same build with you, mine is Lion 10.7.2.

My display sleep is working, but when I choose sleep from the Apple Icon on the top left.

My computer goes to sleep and I can't wake it. I had to do had reset, and my bios setting will be gone.

In your case, hows the sleep working for you?

sorry for the super late response, i can put my system to sleep using the sleep in apple logo; i can also wake up using keyboard, but it seems like my network cannot seem acquire a valid IP address from my router. I already tried a couple of variant of RTL8XX kext but to no avail. I need to reboot in order for me to acquire a valid ip. Anyone has an idea what is happening?
