BIOS Reset needed, Dual boot problem

Hi !

 

I have SL & W7 installed on my TOSH M700, chameleon bl and usual mod cons..

Everything working good and stable appart from one annoyance, after booting into windows I need to reset bios before SL will boot without panic "firewire (ohci) start - unable to get device memory"

not sure if the problem is pci or ti card or fw device therein

removed hpet to get fw working originally but later changed irq's around in dsdt.aml (bios problem has persisted from start)

bios just needs resetting after booting W7 so no doubt W7 is modifying something in the BIOIS, not anything visible at least.

 

Thoughts please !!!
