netmatrix.2005
Hi everybody! I need a help in fixing (patching) DSDT file for ASUS x79 Sabertooth LGA2011 motherboard. I tried to fix it, but during compilation I am getting Warning 1088 - Not all control paths return a value ^(SIOS) in section Method (SIOS,1,NotSerized) . It looks like this Intel ACPI Component Architecture ASL Optimizing Compiler version 20091214 [Dec 16 2009] Copyright © 2000 - 2009 Intel Corporation Supports ACPI Specification Revision 4.0 /Users/admin/Library/Application Support/EvOSoftware/DSDT/DSDTFiles/dsdt.dsl 3022: Method (SIOS, 1, NotSerialized) Warning 1088 - Not all control paths return a value ^ (SIOS) ASL Input: /Users/admin/Library/Application Support/EvOSoftware/DSDT/DSDTFiles/dsdt.dsl - 9050 lines, 308856 bytes, 3246 keywords AML Output: /Users/admin/Library/Application Support/EvOSoftware/DSDT/DSDTFiles/./dsdt.aml - 32390 bytes, 990 named objects, 2256 executable opcodes Compilation complete. 0 Errors, 1 Warnings, 0 Remarks, 93 Optimizations I cannot drop section Method(SIOS,1,NotSerialized) since it is a part of SBridge ( may be I am wrong) Second, I cannot enter my system (MacOSX 10.7.3) without NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, I feel I did something wrong in DSDT edits. I have already applied patch AICPMPatch the new version and still I am unable to get rid of NullCPUPowerManagement.kext.
