rabbiTT
Before I commit to possible screwing up my system I would like to find out different people's ideas and/or experience with installing OSX86 on a RAID 0 array, or any RAID for that matter. Before the switch of the Mac Pro to the x86 CPUs I built the following system (and am now currently considering the 2.0 Ghz Xeon system): AMD Athlon64 x2 3800+ socket AM2 MSI K9N Platinum mobo (nVidia RAID 0,1, 0+1,5) 2GB Patriot pc2-6400 DDR2-800 RAM, 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2V 2x 250GB WD SE 16MB cache SATA-II (3.0Gb/s) 7200rpm HDD in RAID 0 2x 250GB WD IDE 8MB cache 7200rpm HDD with SATA adapter Plextor 750A DVD+/-RW DL/RAM ATI Radeon x1600 Pro 512MB PCIe SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum So would I be able to install any version on this config, or are there special drivers I need to use or kext files to have prior to install?
