eanda-sbs
Recently purchased OSX Lion on USB stick from the apple store. I don't want to ruin this stick and would like to make a bootable install USB stick from its content. I have searched the internet and all the USB install creations are pointing to the downloaded software from Apple store. Is there a method to make an usb installer stick from this store purchased stick? Is there a way to clone it for a backup? My gratitude for anyone that get offer some insight or point me in the right direction. bigpoppa206
Simply lauch Disk Utility and make a disk image of the USB stick and you are in business. Then you can restore the image tto a fresh USB stick and voila, you are in business. Make sure you partition and format the new USB stick exactly the same as the one from Apple.
