PookyMacMan
You will have to take a picture of the panic to get much help. Also, try using a retail disc. PookyMacMan
See if you can change the settings in VMW to present hardware similar to VBox's hardware. That might help a lot. You might want to try a different kernel or a RTC fix; that seems to be the issue. mac_assassin
yea ok will i already did that i configured the the VMW same as VBox still i get the same result and for the RTC if it was an issue then VBox might give the same error or similar ... and other Ideas ! PookyMacMan
Not necessarily. Remember that a virtual machine does not see your hardware in the same way as a native OS does; it sees custom hardware presented by VMW or VBox. Therefore, VMW may be presenting something that OS X doesn't know what to do with. Also, you're saying that VMW is presenting the exact same hardware as VBox? Why use VMW when VBox works? Have you tried a different kernel? Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/275693-help-please/#findComment-1794611 Share on other sites

PookyMacMan
That option may only be on certain versions of VMW. What hardware settings do you have set in there right now?
