Hey People,

i would like to use CUDA, for the Mercury Playback Engine of Adobe and programs like DaVinci Resolve. Additionally there are MPEG4 Encoders (MainConcept) and JPEG2000 Encoder (CUJ2K) that support CUDA Acceleration.

The Nvidia GTX285 is really the only option between price, certified by adobe and working with Resolve. Does anyone have experience in using the gtx285 and its cuda capabilities in Lion (10.7.2)?

I am on a Gigabyte Ep45-UD3P, QuadCore 2.67ghz , and currently have a 9500GT Graphic card... I installed Lion using Kakewalk and manually adding VodooHDA for sound and a recent Sleepenabler.kext to resolve sleep issues. The rest worked great out of the box.

Looking forward to (hopefully) success stories!

t.
