So the question is; What software should I put on my Acer Aspire 1640z for a successful hackintosh? Search for Acer Aspire 1640z here or google "Acer Aspire 1640z insanelymac" or "Acer Aspire 1640z os x" or "Acer Aspire 1640z hackintosh". However I don't believe your laptop is supported. Also would kalaway work or maybe iPc or JAS or something like that? You can try a retail Snow Leopard installation with the OSx86 ModCD. The ModCD is a wonderful boot disc that supports many chipsets and processors.
