Hi

I have recently installed OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on my laptop(specs in signature), updated to 10.6.8, and installed kext for network, keyboard, trackpad and sound.

But now I have a little problem. My wifi card, Atheros AR9285, is installed using a modified IO80211Family.kext, and works fine on my home network, with WPA2-Personal encryption. But at my school we are using repeaters, bridges, or whatever you wanna call it when there's a router in every classroom to transmit the signal from the main router, and here I can't get on the internet. It connects to the network, no encryption, and says that it's connected, but as soon as I open a browser, it changes to the not connected to any network symbol, with a ! inside, when I look it tells me that it's still connected, but there's a problem connecting. The browser says right after opening it that there's no connection. When I look in system preferences, under network, it tells me when I disable and re-enable airport, it first tells me that it doesn't have an IP-adress, and after a few seconds it tells me that it has given itself an IP-adress.

My computer is dual-booting with Windows 7, and in windows there's no problem.

I have attached the original zip-file with the modified kext to this post.

Also I understand that it's a good idea to tell which SMBIOS I'm using. I use smbios MacBook Pro 6,1. I have no DSDT.aml, The user who made the DSDT-AutoPatcher helped me make one, when I was running Lion 10.7 DP4, but we tried a lot of things, but when DSDT.aml was used, I got a KP.

If anyone has an interest in fixing the DSDT.aml, or tell me how to fix it, I have also attached it.

I really hope someone can help me fix the problem.

Thanks in advance
