Hi all,

I'm having some trouble booting into Lion,

After the Apple logo ( or all the text in verbose mode ) it goes into a white screen with just a cursor that i can move around.

I tried numberous of commands like -v -x graphicsenabler=yes/no busratio=21(read that somewhere dunno what is does) but i just won't let me in. now the funny thing is that the Lion installer boots perfectly with high resolution etc.

I looked up in single user mode what kexts where installed and those are the same as on the USB installer. nothing more nothing less. ( ElliottForeLegacyRTC.kext, FakeSMC.kext, NullCPUPowermanagement.kext ) And in /Extra my own DSDT.aml.

Any help is welcome, normally i find everything with search but this one is really bothering me.

Specs:

Intel Quadcore Q9550

GA-X48-DS5

Ati HD6950 2GB

IF more info is needed please ask, imma take some sleep now.

Screen of what it does:

Sounds like it's not loading the video card enabler. Go to kexts.com and find the one for your card and see if that helps. This is something I am noticing pop up more and more as people transition to Lion, esp if they had a rock solid system with Snow Leopard.
