lon36unn3r
Hi, I once have SL install on my machine before. The recent event due to hard disk failure cause me to get a new drive and now I'm having difficulty putting SL back on my machine. The setup are i7 860 2.8ghz asus p7p55d-le motherboard 8gb ddr3 1.5 tb hard disk partitioned to 1 1TB and 500gb partitions. I'm booting using ##### guessing 2.6 it been with me since my first installation. If i boot without any command i'll be stuck at the grey apple screen. If boot with -x i get kernel panic screen. I tried booting with -v -f -x cpus=1 busratio=21 UHCIreset=No EHCIacquire=No PCIRootUID=1 i'll get stuck at system uptime nanoseconds : 0. Booting with -v get me no where. Tried removing my ram down to 4gb still the same using maxmem=4096 still no help. Using retail 10.6 dvd.... I would like to know what I'm missing out and why i cant install back on the system. Thank you for your help.
