Update to 10.6.8

Hello everybody.

I've just installed OSX on my PC with Nawcom Mod CD and Snow Leopard Retail.

It's version is 10.6.3, i want to update to 10.6.8 (app store).

Last time i had an retail on my PC, and i tried to update it, the USB ports stop working, and i couldn't use my mouse/keybord.

How can i update this safely?

I had the same problem with 10.6.7

The concept is the same except you will need the 10.6.8 combo update. You will still need to do as this says. And by the way, before you do anything, are you on an Intel or AMD CPU?

Do a fresh install of retail Snow Leopard and then update to 10.6.8. When it asks tells you to reboot DO NOT REBOOT. Open [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and install the IOUSBFamily rollback, then reboot. You will have USB working when you reboot.

No offense, but the way I said is easier since it does not require you to touch your files. No re-installs.
