macwindowsmac
Hi. I'm trying to install Myzar 10.4.6 on my Thinkpad x60s, but repeatedly getting this error message, "There was a problem checking your disk." When I choose to ignore and continue to install, it works fine and say the installation is complete, but it does not boot into OSX. My specs are: SATA drive Acronis Boot Manager Acronis OS selector I partititioned one hard drive into three different ones (of course, OSX on FAT32). Rammjet
I'm pretty sure the "disk" it is checking is your DVD. Try reburning the DVD at the slowest speed possible and if available use a different brand of media and/or a different type of media (dvd-r, dvd+r, dvd-rw, dvd+rw) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26984-there-was-a-problem-checking-your-disk-message/#findComment-183493 Share on other sites
