Couldn't find this posted anywhere, so apologies if its already answered somewhere else.

 

My Snow Leopard (10.6.3) Dell Vostro is almost perfect. The only tiny niggle is that on boot up you cant tap the touchpad to select from the user logins. You have to use the trackpad button instead. Once you do this and login, the trackpad works flawlessly until the next reboot, including selecting the user for login, which didn't work after startup.

 

I'm assuming the trackpad driver, or the preferences don't get applied until the first user logs in.

 

has anyone come across this and resolved it?
