b.l.a.
I have an running Hackintosh on Lion 10.7.1. It's running great with one exception. My primary display is great, but, when I connect my secondary monitor (VGA) it kills the primary (DVI) and I never get any output on the secondary. I've searched every forum that I can find without any helpful information. Here is the output from System Report: Chipset Model: GeForce 210 Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Slot: Slot-1 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 512 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0a65 Revision ID: 0x00a2 ROM Revision: 70.18.60.00.07 Displays: Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected VA2702w: Resolution: 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Display Serial Number: SC7113300466 Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: Supported Since I can't get any video with the second display plugged in I have no idea what this would display. Is it even possible to get two monitors running (not mirrored) with this video card or not? Any input/suggestion would be most helpful and appreciated. Thank you, Brian Hi Brian, Just got my Geforce 210 running two displays in Lion 10.7.2. Here's what I did: 1. Remove the EFI strings if any. 2. Install ##### 4.0.2 and check System Utilities, Chimera and 32-bit Apple Boot Screen. 3. Restart. Here's the screenshot of my org.chameleon.Boot.plist ini /Extra: And this is the output from System Report: GeForce 210: Chipset Model: GeForce 210 Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Slot: Slot-1 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 512 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0a65 Revision ID: 0x00a2 ROM Revision: 70.18.49.00.00 Displays: L177WSB: Resolution: 1440 x 900 @ 60 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: Supported L177WSB: Resolution: 1440 x 900 @ 60 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: Supported Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/268862-dual-display-in-lion-with-geforce-210-card/#findComment-1766599 Share on other sites
