Hey,

Alright, well I got the newest version of os x86 to install today, installed flawlessly! However, when I go to boot up, I get a few errors, such as "cannot get control from BIOS". I'm less concerned about the errors than the actual Hard Drive right now. What I want to to is reformat the entire drive with windows.

I popped in the windows cd, and it now no longer recognizes the hard drive. I tried partitionmagic, which sees the HDD, but lists it as "BAD". I attempted to reformat with partition magic, but that wouldn't work either.

How can I fix my Hard Drive?

From what you describe, it sounds like you formatted your hard drive as HFS+ with the GUID boot record, when it should be HFS+ filesystem with the MBR boot record. I would try rebooting from the OS X install DVD and formatting your drive from there if you can, using the settings listed above.

Good luck!

EDIT: Check out this thread, it sounds like exactly what you are experiencing. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=26355
