[Solved]No Marvell controller?

Hello!

 

I am trying to install OSX86 on my desktop PC. However, I have run into some issues:

 

When I try to (via [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url]) boot into my Snow Leopard retail disc I get stuck at the white apple loading screen. I have tried many times but it always ends up like this. I even downloaded a supposed 10.6.7 disc and burned it. With it I get past the apple screen and am able to choose a language until it tells me that my OS X can't be installed on my computer. Nothing I didn't expect since I'd read that this version does not work with OSX86. I am trying to figure out how I can get past the apple screen with my retail disc. On thing that deviates from Lifehackers guide when it comes to my installation is that I was unable to find the Marvell 9123 SATA Controller option in my BIOS. I could only see the J-Micron option wich I changed to AHCI for obvious reasons.

 

I disconnected everything from my computer except for mouse, keyboard, one monitor, and power. Internally I got rid of the WLAN PCI card I'd been using and tried my hard drive in different SATA ports on the motherboard. Still no luck in finding the Marvell controller.

The board uses the P55 chipset for SATA. Therefor there is no need to change Marvell to AHCI. I managed to boot into 10.6.3 via [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] when using the command PCIRootUID =1. I really hope this helps people who are as troubled as I was. There is hope.
