hello aLL, I need some help here :)

last month I have test my SL retail installed on my INTEL system, but now I change my system to AMD, so I need installation guide for that, coz I try some guide and I get failure installation.

 

my system :

 

- Phenom II 555BE unlock

- Vvikoo VA-880G

- MSI GTX460 Hawk

i just succeed doing an installation using this guide :

 

tools that i need :

- USB SL Retail

- Nawcom ModCD bootable

- 10.6.7 Update Combo

- [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 3.7

 

guide :

 

1. insert USB SL Retail

2. insert Nawcom ModCD and boot using it

3. choose USB SL Retail

4. wait until installation windows appear

5. format disk with disk util

6. in the nawcom option choose legacy_kernel and some stuffs that compatible with ur HW

7. start the installation

 

post installation :

 

1. update to 10.6.7 do not restart

2. open [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], in this case i choose :

- system utilities

- Graphic [NVIDIA 256.02.05f01]

- miscellaneous [ElliotForceLegacyRTC, EvoReboot, FakeSMC, FakeSMC Plugin, IOUSBFamily Rollback, NullCPUPowerManagement]

- Network [Lnx2Mac's]

- Bootloaders [Chameleon 2.0 RC5]

- Boot Option [32-bit Apple Boot Screen, PCI Root ID Fix, Instant Menu]

- System Definition [Mac Pro 5.1]

- Themes [tonymacx86 Classic]

- OSx86 Software

3. open com.appleboot.plist and edit the kernel flag :

 

<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>   --> edit to <string>legacy_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>arch=i386 PCIRootUID=1</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Instant Menu</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>

 

4. restart, and enjoy it

 

but i still have problem with my gpu [GTX460 1GB], any advise guys???
