Pooball
Hello! I've recently done my (first) fresh install of JaS 10.4.7 Intel, and have come across this issue in terminal while attemping to manually fix some stuff: "sudo: can't stat /private/etc/sudoers: No such file or directory" Sudo worked just fine yesterday, but for some reason today it's decided to be fussy. No commands seem to work with it anymore! I've looked all over this forum / google, and can't really find much that helps. When doing an LS of /private/etc, the closest I get to "sudoers" is "Sudoers.apple_upgrade_swap". Any suggestions? TIA! philcolbourn
I have just had the same problem. I copied sudoers.apple_upgrade_swap to sudoers after rebooting into single user mode. I can now sudo again but I can not print nor access some system preferences (eg. Shares are greyed out).
