Is my install vanilla? Can I update without problem?

Hello all.

 

I know that it's a rather silly question, but I'd be even sillier if I don't ask, right? I have installed hazard 10.6.6 on my computer, using a GUID partition scheme, on a single disk dedicated exclusively for OSX. What I'd like to know is if I can download and apply the 10.6.8 update without messing up my installation?

 

I have a ZOTAC ZBOX HS-ND22 (Celeron SU2300, 4GB RAM, 160GB HD on esata port, nvidia ION graphics), and I didn't installed anything eese to make it work. It boots from chamelon.

 

Uname -a displays:

I just installed an additional kext to enable sound (ALC888).

 

As a matter of fact, everything works as expected (meaning that I do not have WiFi -not a problem for me- nor HDMI audio -a bit troublesome, but apparently can't be fixed), so I don NEED to do the upgrade, but it would be nice to have the latest SL version (perhaps later I will try Lion)

ps. on a side note, i that kernel version the adequate? or should it be 10.7?? Thanks again!
