Well I almost have my system running great except for two issues. The most annoying one is my mouse, it works and can click/highlight things but I can't drag anything. This makes it alot hard to move/delete files, I know the shell/command prompt well but I would rather just use my mouse for file activity. When I first installed with 10.4.6 (jas) it worked fine then I upgraded to 10.4.7 with a patcher I found.

The second issue is with my cdrom. When I first boot up whatever is in the drive is recongized just fine then I can eject it but when I put in a new disk it puts a normal folder on the desktop with the correct name but has a little red circle at the bottom of the folder (I guess it means error). I can mount the cdrom manualy via shell as well but like I said earlier I would rather just drag stuff arround. I'm not sure if this worked in 10.4.6 or not as I wasen't installing anything via cdrom like I am now.

What kext do I need to copy back into my system to get my mouse back to normal? I would just revert back to 10.4.6 but my X1900XT only seems to work in 10.4.7.

System:

Motherboard: Asus K8N-DL

Processors: 2x opteron 246

Ram: 1gb ddr 400 Registered/ECC

Hard Drive: WD 80gb PATA drive

Sound Card: Auzentech X-Plosion

Video Card: Asus EAX1900XT 512mb

Everything else I have seems to work great, even the sound card has optical out. Any ideas?

EDIT: I'm guessing after I ran the quake4 demo it screwed up something, I rebooted and all was well. I decided to try out an old mac game I own (American McGee's Alice) and it seemed to work ok after I quit the game. Hopefully this error was only caused by the demo and won't be bad for the retail version.
