chewinus
I use 10.4.4 and have finished the installation and Dual boot procedure. When I boot into Mac,on apple screen it showed something like "stop sign" on the middle of the screen so I boot into DVD again and checked "Intel . AMD patch and 10.4.6 upgrade" and installed again but now it shows screen of loading mac contents then reboot without entering apple grey screen. How can I fix this problem. Hardware? Set something wrong?? Wrong version??? These are things I've tried to solve. - -v -x >>>Same - Mark mac as active partition using Terminal and fdisk of windows98 Installation CD.>>Error starting operating system. - Mac Partition is primary - chain0 boot.ini CPU : Intel P4 511 2.8Ghz include SSE2 SSE3 Mother board : Asrock 775i915PL - SATA2 Hard disk : Seagate S-ATA 80GB VGA : SIMMAX Nvidia GeForce 6600 256Mb DDR Thank you for any suggestions Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26513-mac-dont-start/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
In Customize, do not select any AMD patches - you have an Intel machine. Choose the Intel packages. Choose SSE3, not SSE2. Choose the 10.4.6 upgrade. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26513-mac-dont-start/#findComment-180029 Share on other sites
