daynd Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 I keep getting this kernel panic with an Intel DX58SO Mobo while attempting to install Lion through a USB and Chameleon. I have tried various combinations of boot flags and no progress. I have yet to reach the Installation Screen. I used to be getting a "system uptime in nanoseconds: 0" but I turned off all the additional unnecessary features in my BIOS including all cores except 1 and Hyper Threading off to reach this screen. I do not know if my specs show up so these are as follows: Mobo: Intel DX58SO CPU: Intel i7 920 @ 2.67 GPU: Galaxy GeForce GTX 460 RAM: GSkill 8GB HDD 1: Segate 1TB @ 7200 RPM HDD 2: Toshiba 1TB @ 7200 RPM DVD: LG GH24NS50 P.S. I may be a noob to the forum but please don't treat this as such considering that I have tried many options.
