manic&panic
we are using a kingston SSD disk as our system disk and we expierienced the following problem: every couple of weeks OSX is not bootable because the partition table appears to be corrupted. we are unsure if this is a disk issue or a OSX issue. did anyone here expierienced a similar problem with SSD disks? is there maybe an application or a bootloader routine that is able to scan the system disk during the boot process and if neccesary repairs the partition? Taruga
I'm using two OCZ SSD´s in Raid 0 for months and I have zero issues. My advice is... look for a firmware update to your SSD Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/264625-sdd-issues/#findComment-1729318 Share on other sites

I didn't have this with an SSD, but I did have it with an HDD, and soon afterward it started smoking. Do what Taruga said, and be careful; your drive might be bad. If you can, try it with Windows.
