KHIT
Hi I have used the last two days on trying to figure out Why my AMD Athlon 64 Hackintosh with SL 10.6.3 has native resolution and full QE/CI, and my new Core i3 2100 with SL 10.6.8 doesn't have full QE/CI, but by using these kexts, I managed to get native resolution: http://nawcom.com/osx86/files/10.6/Graphic...IDIA/Injectors/ Can anyone help me with this? The card is recognized in system profiler. I have tried using GraphicsEnabler=Yes and PCIroot=1, configured through Lizard, but this makes my system hang at the blue screen, and no cursor appears. I can though boot in safe mode, with no problems, but still no QE/CI Hope someone can help me out on this Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/264573-geforce-7300gs-os-x-1068/ Share on other sites
Mac Boy
I think 10.6 dropped 64-bit support for the 7xxx series. Try to see if it works in 32-bit mode. KHIT
I think 10.6 dropped 64-bit support for the 7xxx series. Try to see if it works in 32-bit mode. Hi I have just tried booting in 32-bit mode by using arch=i386, and checked that it has actually booted up in 32-bit mode, by opening System Profiler and selecting the software tab, and it shows 64-bit kernel and Extensions = No. If Apple dropped the support for the card, it should have been working now? I don't think that they are so stupid to drop the support for a specific graphics series just by releasing an update, which makes the drive unusable. Because as I said, it worked on my AMD hackintosh running 10.6.3. Mac Boy
All I can tell you is to try NVDarwin.kext and see if it works with intel. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/264573-geforce-7300gs-os-x-1068/#findComment-1729525 Share on other sites
KHIT
All I can tell you is to try NVDarwin.kext and see if it works with intel. I have tried NVDarwin.kext, i both 64-bit and 32-bit mode, but no change. I have also tried NVkush.kext, with the same result. Still only native resolution and no QE/CI Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/264573-geforce-7300gs-os-x-1068/#findComment-1729605 Share on other sites
Mac Boy
The only other thing I can think of is to try each kext while connected via VGA and or DVI.
