BackSheep Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 I've got iAtkos S3 v2 installed, however it's checked for updates. The following updates have been found: Remote Desktop Client UpdateMac OS X Update Combined iLife Support Airport Utility I took a quick look at the Show Details of the updates, and it seems Mac OS X Update Combined will update the OS to 10.6.8. The Airport Utility update says there was an error during the installation of the OS, so the update will fix that. - AirPort doesn't find any wireless networks, and times out (almost instantly) when I enter the SSID manually. I'm hoping the update will fix any (maybe all) problems I've got right now, however I don't want to run them in case it screws up the kernel and causes a panic, or whatever. ma0 Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 Dont restart the computer after the updates but download legacy kernel 10.6.8 and install that. then restart.
