What you will need:

 

Mac OS X Snow Leopard Retail Upgrade Disc

 

Empire EFI Bootloader

Can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?4a0tlc522q7b8wc

 

Windows 7 x64 bit install DVD

 

Installation:

 

1. BACK UP ALL INFORMATION YOU WANT TO KEEP!!!! YOU WILL HAVE TO FORMAT YOUR WHOLE HARD DRIVE SO ALL DATA WILL BE LOST!!

2. Burn your Empire EFI.iso to a disc with your favorite image burner

3. Take your Empire EFI Disk and put it in your DVD drive

4. Reboot

5. When you see a screen with Darth Vader on it, eject your Empire EFI disc and put in your Snow Leopard DVD

6. Wait a second or two, push the F5 button and wait for the disk icon with the label Mac OS X Install DVD to show up

7. Use the arrow keys to move the highlighting box to the disk icon

8. Hit Enter

9. Wait at least 5 minutes for the language selection window to show up (If it gets stuck at the black and white text, for more than 5 minutes, take a picture of your current screen and go to an OSx86 forum with the pic)

10. Select your language and click the blue arrow

11. Now go to utilities, and then Disk Utility

12. Now select your Hard Drive from the left box (Not your Windows partition) and then click the erase tab near the top of the screen.

13. Click Options, and then make sure GUID is selected and click ok.

14. Now make two partitions, one that is Mac OS X Journaled and one that is Fat32 (or something to that degree) and labet the Mac partition Mac OS X HD and the Fat32 one Windows

15. Then click Apply

16. When it finishes, close disk utility and install as normal to the Mac OS X HD partition

17. When the computer restarts, eject your Snow Leopard DVD and put in your Windows Install DVD

18. Make a clean install to the "Windows" partition

19. But when you get to the partition window, select "Windows" and click format and then yes, or ok

20. Now install as normal

 

Post-installation:

 

1. Boot into your Windows partition

2. Go here and download Easy BCD

3. Install Easy BCD

4. Run Easy BCD

5. Click add new entry

6. Select the Mac tab

7. Click add entry

8. Download the Empire EFI Disc

9. Rename it to "nst_mac" (very important step)

10. Copy it to C:/NST/ and replace the current file

 

Booting into your new Mac OS X Installation:

 

1. Reboot

2. When it asks you which os you want to boot up with pick NST Mac OS X

3. You will now see a familiar screen, select the Mac OS X HD hard drive with the arrow keys and hit enter

4. You now have Mac OS X running on your HP G62-237US

5. Installing the drivers for Ethernet and Audio:

6. Boot up into windows

7. Download the rtl1000.kext from below and put it in a place where you can locate it easily

8. Download the voodoohda.kext from below and also put it in a place where you can locate it easily

9. Download kext helper from below and, again, put it in a place where you can locate it easily

10. Now boot up into Mac os x

11. Unzip all of the zip files

12. Drag the kexts to the kext helper icon

13. Type in your password (if you made one)

14. Click easy install

15. Wait for confirmation

16. Reboot into mac os x

17. Your ethernet and audio should work now
