Skirecs
I bought a new mini-pci card, for both having added g support and hopefully osx86 support as well. On the wiki it says it is supported and the drivers are supplied, but it does not show up and on boot, a yellow error message scrolls up about the driver/card not working. Does anyont know why or how to fix this because i bought it becuase it was reported to work Here is the card MSI MP54G4 (RT2560) 801.11b/g Mini-PCI (needs drivers) - [8] on this page http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCLPart thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26200-new-wireless-reported-to-work-doesnt/ Share on other sites
Skirecs
So here is an update: I found my Device ID, Vendor ID, and Subsystem ID but when placed in the .plist it doesn't seem to work. Upon kextload, the error returned is cian-sweeneys-computer:/System/Library/Extensions root# kextload CardBusWirelessDriver.kext/ 21CardBusWirelessDriver is not compatible with its superclass, 20IOEthernetController superclass changed? kextload: a link/load error occured for kernel extension CardBusWirelessDriver.kext/ load failed for extension CardBusWirelessDriver.kext/ (run kextload with -t for diagnostic output) Any Ideas? What is really bothering me is that it was reported to work on the wiki.
