maxlife
Hi guys, I trying to install hazard distro 10.6.2 and 10.6.6i and iATKOS v2 S3. But with all installations stops at the same point: Waiting on <dict ID='0'> <key> IOProviderClass </ key> <string ID = '1 '> IOResources </ string> <key> IOResourceMatch </ key> <string ID='2'> boot-uuid- media </ string> </ dict> Searching with google I think I have understood that this message is normal but then the installation should continue detecting the boot device and should display a message like this: Got boot device = IOService: / @ MacRISC2PE/pci f4000000/AppleMacRiscPCI/ata- 6 @ D / AppleKauaiATA / ATADeviceNub @ 0/IOATABlockStorageDriver/IOATABlockStorageDevice / IOBlockStorageDriver/ST3320620A Media/IOApplePartitionScheme/Apple_HFS_Untitled_1 @ 10 that I do not see. I think that the disk drive of my notebook is not detected by the installation of Snow Leopard. My laptop has a single 250GB SATA drive which was initially assigned all to Windows XP. Now before tryng to install the SL I repartitioned with gparted leaving the initial part of the disk (100GB) to XP while the following 150GB free on which to install SL. I ask who can help if the problem is due to a wrong partition disk. Thank you. maxlife
Well i think to have solved the problem of the disk. I have specified in the boot the command -v -x -F rd=disk0s2 arch=i386. The distro used is 10.6.2 hazard. Probably specifing the disk and partition the installation go ahead. Now I have another problem. I have this errors: IOPCCardBridge:start failed USBF 0.918 Apple USB0HCI 0x3b75000::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded - sleep forced At this point the installation stop and don't go ahead. I hope that someone can help me to bypass this problem Thanks Max Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/261676-help-installing-snow-leopard/#findComment-1710112 Share on other sites
