funfobia
I just bought compaq presario v3012AU with Turion64x2 but once i try using jasc 10.4.7 to boot up the system the darwin report "apple.boot.plist" is missing. What is the problem, because i try install on my desktop darwin can find "apple.boot.plist" without any problem. Also, i can use the same dvd to install osx86 on VMWare but what i really want is a native install. Please help me. mwidjaja1
You CAN Install on VM Ware and get a fully native Mac OSX, I have one... (A little busted right now becuase I'm an idiot, but it Does work). I can give you 2000 steps but the easiest tutorial for installing Vm ware to native is this link: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=11314 One thing that wasn't mentioned in the tutorial though was if you want to have a Dual Boot (as if with Win XP and Mac OSX). If you want a dual boot there are a few ways on getting an OS Selector/Boot Loader, however I personally use Acronis Disk Director (not free). There are some free alternatives though. I hope this helps! Good Luck! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26163-compaq-v3012au-cant-install-native-1047/#findComment-177226 Share on other sites
