Holzmichi Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 Hello people, i got following config: Gigabyte P35 DS4 Q9550 4GB OCZ-RAM Powercolor HD5870 PCS+ Creative X-Fi Titanium PCIex SnowLeopard 10.6.8 Chameleon RC5 So heres my problem: I had to install OSX while using a Nvidia Geforce 7300LE because of the fact that i just got a black screen when i started OSX-installation while using my HD5870. I updated OSX to 10.6.8, everything works until here. Then i switched my graphics card from 7300LE to HD5870. Whenever i try to start OSX via Chameleon the 5870-fan runs up to 100% speed and i get a black screen, dunno if osx i booting in the background or not. I connected to my Toshiba Regza 37" via HDMI, i also tried a HDMI to DVI-adapter but i also get a black screen and 100% fan. Any suggestions? Thanks!
